🀄 Ford Focus Outside Temperature Sensor Problems

When I first start the car everything is fine but as soon as it warms up the temp gets like 10-20 degrees higher than it should be. As I stry driving it lower as if the wind is affecting it. It worked well for 4 1/2 years nut now it sows the right temp when you first start the car. But while driving, the temperature starts to rise and goes up to 45C then starts to drop and goes down to about 15 degrees even though the outside temperature is only 27C. Remove the interior trim piece, un plug the mirror from the harness. At the bottom of the mirror you will see the ambient temp sensor. Remove this and peel back the fabric tape. Cut the wires and replace with new sensor (£9.99 ebay) and solder in place. Step 4. Press the “Climate” button two times to display the outside temperature.
